The storm last Thursday left us broken...no phone, no cable, no Internet, no alarm, and no oven. I am convinced our house got hit by lightening. The news somehow "forgot" to cover our neighborhood and the entire East Dallas area...which, looked like a war zone on Thursday after a storm hit that morning. Trees down everywhere...roofs ripped off all over the place...it was bad. My mom and dad were without power for a few days and most of Lakewood did not get power back until Saturday night. We had power, thank God, by Thursday afternoon. The clean up continues in our neighborhood...we have enough wood stacked up along the sidewalks to start a small forest fire.
Then to top it all off...our lawn mower broke and I snapped a sprinkler line on Sunday...NEAT!
BUT...we had a great weekend. Very relaxing. Parker and I had a date on Friday night because Dad was at the Rangers game with the boys. We went to NorthPark and mommy stopped for some dinner at La Duni and had a yummy mojito...my friend Shannon met us for a quick dinner...QUICK being the key word here...
The tooth fairy came to visit us again this week...Parker now has both bottom front teeth and he loves showing them off.
We should have Internet, phone, cable, alarm, oven, sanity...very soon...

Poor Ebes! That stinks! Anything I can do to help. That was a crazy storm last week. Glad you are all ok though.
